Baldur’s GateBaldur’s Gate is an RPG which still commands reverence and admiration from gamers, despite being really, really old school. It wouldn’t be farfetched to say that back in 1998, this was the game that defined the standards of tactical party based combat. So, when I heard about Baldur’s Gate Enhanced Edition to come, I was overjoyed and all misty eyed.

I was expecting enhanced graphics, inherent bugs of original game removed and an overall thoroughly enjoyable and unique experience. But alas, it wasn’t what I was expecting! So, it’s with a heavy heart that I write this Baldur’s Gate Enhanced Edition Review not in favor of it.

Inazuma Eleven Strikers Review

Unlike its DS predecessors, Inazuma Eleven Strikers is a fast paced arcade fantasy soccer game. While the games on DS were RPGs with engaging plots, Strikers has little to no story and the RPG elements have been removed and replaced by fast and frantic action oriented gameplay. Inazuma Eleven Strikers grants every player the capability of using special moves known as Hissatsu-waza e.g. releasing energy blast or summoning a gigantic foot to trample the opposition. In fact, experimenting with different combinations and special moves and then trying them on against other teams is one of the best aspects of the game.

Mugen Souls Review

It’s a known fact that extremely successful games are crafted keeping in view the intended audience. Rarely does a game made with one cultural audience in mind manage to strike a chord with a different culture. The exact same has transpired with Mugen Souls, which was clearly made for Japanese audience. The western game playing masses simply couldn’t identify with signature outlandish Japanese characters, offbeat humor and over the top dazzling colored environments. But, these are not the only attributes which compelled me to rank Mugen Souls poorly.
